1 Create an account or log in

Monash University Application Portal

Applications are currently open for our next teaching period.

2 Have your course code ready

Follow the steps in the Application Portal, which will take about 20 minutes to complete. You will need to fill in the relevant course code, which are as follows:

3 Supporting documents

Upload the following documents:

  1. Evidence of all previous tertiary study (transcripts, proof of degree completion)
  2. Proof of citizenship/permanent residency with a photo ID
  3. Proof of English Language proficiency
  4. Change of name (if applicable). (e.g. marriage certificate)

4 Additional information requirements

If you are applying for the Graduate Diploma of Data Science, Master of Public Health or Master of Health Administration, in addition to submitting the above documents, you will also need to submit additional information as follows:

Graduate Diploma of Data Science Master of Public Health or Master of Health Administration
  • Academic transcript showing that you completed at least one semester in a mathematics or statistics subject at tertiary level.
  • Curriculum Vitae with two references.
  • Course Pre-requisites Summary – to prove that you meet the prerequisites of having experience or previous study in programming, databases, information systems of computer systems, and maths or statistics. Find out more
  • Curriculum Vitae with two references.
  • Statement of Purpose – briefly describe in 250 words or less any relevant work experience you have, any previous study or courses that prepared you for this course and your motivation for undertaking this course.

5 Submit your application

When you’re ready, review your application, accept the applicant declaration and submit it.

What happens next?

After you have successfully submitted your online application, you will receive a confirmation email. Then we’ll call you within 24 hours to follow up on your application. If everything is in order, your application will be sent to the Course Director for assessment.

You will normally receive a response within 5-10 working days. If your application is successful, you will receive a Conditional Offer. In order to receive a Full Offer, you must send us Certified Hard Copies of any documents that will be listed in your Conditional Offer. Further instructions will be sent to you at this time.

If your application is successful, you will receive a Full Offer within 10 working days from when your hard copy documents are received. We suggest you post them via registered post.
