OLAs play a vital role in this journey. They’re industry leaders, like you, who support and guide our students throughout their time at Monash University. It’s an incredibly important job that requires passion, empathy, and expertise.
You can be part of it.
An OLA’s main goal is to help our students succeed. So, you’ll have a range of responsibilities, including the following:
Delivering an exceptional student experience.
You’ll facilitate academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team.
Facilitating learning activities.
You’ll engage and support students’ learning through a series of interactive, live activities.
Undertaking assessment tasks.
You’ll moderate, mark, and provide feedback along with processing and submitting results within set timelines.

Who we're looking for.
Being an OLA requires a unique set of skills, and we’re seeking individuals who:
- Have a Master’s degree (or higher)
- Have at least 5 years’ industry experience in their field
- Bring senior-level industry experience (preferable)
- Are passionate about student success and online learning
- Are excellent and compelling communicator
- Excel as facilitators and have an engaging online presence
- Are proactive and well-organised
- Thrive in a remote working environment
