OLAs play a vital role in this journey. They’re industry leaders, like you, who support and guide our students throughout their time at Monash University. Its an incredibly important job that requires passion, empathy, and expertise.
You can be part of it.
An OLA’s main goal is to help our students succeed. So, you’ll have a range of responsibilities, including the following:
Delivering an exceptional student experience.
You’ll facilitate academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team.
Facilitating learning activities.
You’ll engage and support students’ learning through a series of interactive, live activities.
Undertaking assessment tasks.
You’ll moderate, mark, and provide feedback along with processing and submitting results within set timelines.

Who we're looking for.
Mentorship takes a specific skillset, so we’re looking for individuals who embody the following:
- Have a Master’s degree (or higher)
- Have at least 5 year’s industry experience in your field
- Have a senior-level industry experience (preferable)
- Is passionate about student success and online learning
- Is an excellent and compelling communicator
- Is a strong facilitator and has an engaging online presence
- Is proactive and organised
- Individuals who thrive in a remote working environment
