Description:
‘Health economics’ provides an understanding of the microeconomic approach to resource allocation in relation to the health care sector. It introduces you to the use of economic tools in the analysis of the ‘market’ for health care, prioritising equity and efficiency. You will also acquire an analytical assessment framework to evaluate health policy within the Australian health care system from an economic perspective.
