Description:
‘Health promotion, planning and evaluation in public health’ examines the myriad factors that contribute to the health of populations, and the role health promotion plays in mitigating health risks and preventing disease. Using a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods, you will evaluate disease prevention and health promotion strategies, with an emphasis on challenges posed by the complexities of public health action, and the contexts in which it is carried out, with case studies used to foster an understanding of these issues.
